Memories of Pooh
Pooh was our daughter's dog and came to live with us when she moved and couldn't have her in the place she was living at. Lacy got Pooh when she was a puppy and they went everywhere together, she loved Lacy. I remember her coming to visit and there was Pooh sitting in the passenger seat like a little human, she was so cute.
She lived with us permanently for 11 years. She was a very good dog and loved her family. She loved to go on hikes and like stuffed toys. She would sleep beside me like a child and I missed that when she could not longer be on the bed due to her bladder issues. She then got diabetes and it changed her, she was no longer the dog she use to be.
Pooh you were such a good girl. You loved your family so much and you never wanted to be away from us. I loved to watch you play fetch with Russ and you would take his ball because I think you knew how much it bugged him 😊. I loved watching you out on hikes running out on the trails. I am so sorry you got sick and I am sorry I wasn't there when you passed, but Matt was with you holding you as you left us and the vet was very good with you and you went peacefully. Our home feels empty without you here. I know Russ and Juicy were there to meet you at the bridge. Have fun playing and taking Russ's ball from him. You are no longer sick my girl. We will always love and miss you. πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ•ŠοΈ
02/15/25 - Sweet Pooh we miss you. This house feels so empty without you here. We are so use to you following us around, you were there every time we turned around. When I would clean up the yard you followed me around even if it was raining. You didn't really care about the other dogs because you just wanted to be with your people. You left your paw prints on our home and our hearts Pooh and we love you and miss you. πŸΎπŸ’”πŸΆπŸ’–
Pooh I am so sorry for everything.
02/18/25 - Hi Pooh Bear. I hope you are running with Russ and Juicy and I hope you found Star and Missy too. Matt had a bad day yesterday. When he went to leave the house he grabbed 3 cookies, one for Cheyenne, Star, and you. Then when he went to feed Cheyenne and Star he was looking for your food scooper and your bowl. We are not use to having you gone. I look at your bed and I miss you. Little Snow misses you too. You had a very strong presence in this house and now it feels very empty. We love you and miss you. πŸΎπŸ’”πŸΆπŸ’ž
3/12/25 - My Pooh we picked up your ashes and now you are back with Lacy at her house, please watch over her and Zay. We miss you Pooh. I miss you following me around the yard. Snow misses you a lot, she follows us around and follows the other dogs. I didn't realize how much she stayed by you. We love you and miss you very much. πŸΎπŸ’žπŸΆ

04/14/25 - Hi sweet Pooh. We had to let Snow go today and I know you there to greet her when she crossed over the rainbow bridge. This was so hard for us because we had to let you go two months ago and it hurts so bad to say goodbye. Snow missed you so much, but now you two can play and lay in the sun together. You, Snow, Russ, and Juicy are all together again along with Star. You are all the original gang and now you are reunited. I really miss you and Snow. Our home feels so empty now. You pups left your paw prints on our heart and our home. We love you Pooh and Snow and please watch over Snow because she is little. πŸΎπŸ’”πŸ’žπŸΆπŸΎ
