Memories of Sammy

Sammy came into my life on November 3 1996.
I was leaving my Mother's house when I heard a pitiful meowing. I looked around to find the source and I found a kitten trying to walk, but it kept falling down.
and meowing so pitiful. It was a Sunday morning and I knew my Vet had hours. So I put him in my jacket and off we went. his eyes were nearly sealed shut and
his ears were full of bugs of some type. They damaged his hearing and it would scare him when ever he heard a loud sound as he couldn't tell what directions
it came from. He didn't like to be held to long, I guess the height made him uncomfortable.
At the end of his life, his body just gave out. He died November 6 2015. 19 years and 3 days after he came into my life as a 10 week kitten.
He was the best of buddies with 3 other cats. Bear, Boris and Teddy who greeted him at Rainbow Bridge.

Hi my Sammy Wammy, Its been a year already, I miss you so much!!! Baby is almost the same color as you and when I see her in the shadows, I see you, Sigh!! I think Jack misses you, Benito and Jill, You all left in the same year, Are you playing with them and running through the green grass? As you know I didn't put your ashes with " Buddy ". I put them in my " Memorial Garden ". I felt you belonged here with the rest of the family. Emmylou is not doing well, old age is catching up with her.

Hi my Sammy Whammy
How are you doing, watching over Emmylou with the rest of the family? I still haven't spread her ashes, I just cant yet. Maybe in spring time. How is everyone doing ?? plenty of warm breezes to go around. How about pumpkins?
did you find any? Baby is not doing that good, but she not ready to let loose yet. Sigh! I miss all you guys so much!! But I have beautiful memories to fall back on.
