Memories of Sammy
Sammy was truly a special dog. He was originally my parents dog. Sadly in 2018 they passed away 18 hours apart from each other. They loved Sammy so much but could no longer care for him so in 2017 we decided to take him in. He was such a joy and blessing to our family. He loved to go on walks and hang out with us and always wanted to be petted constantly. He would always tap you to receive more attention. Anytime we came home Sammy would be at the top of the basement steps wiggling his butt and doing his tap dance as we called it because he was so excited to see us!!! He would stand up on his hind legs and spin around and he had so much energy many people thought he was a much younger dog. He loved to sleep in our bed and was a cuddle bug. Just like his sister Baby he enjoyed getting a bath in a tub full of bubbles. He used to love his greenies and always would beg for food but only from his mommy who always gave in to him. She just couldn't resist his adorable face. Everyone at the vet loved him also and always made a big fuss over him. Many would say that Boston terriers are not good guard dogs but our Sammy certainly was and he always would growl and protect us at all times and wouldn't back down from his sister Baby when she would fight with him and she was a staffordshire terrier. Sammy had so much heart and soul and was just the most sweetest and most loyal dog. Life will never be the same again without him around. Sadly he had cancer and could no longer bark or go on those long walks that he loved so much. He passed at 9:26 am and 9/26 is my late fathers birthday so we know that this is a big sign that he is with my father and mother again and is no longer suffering. His sister Baby passed away in 2018 and we know they are together at the Rainbow bridge having the time of their lives! Until we meet again sweet boy we love you and miss you terribly. Baby please give him a kiss from us !
