Shadow was the first pet, me and Brooke when we first moved in together. We got him from a loving family that was moving across the country, they had adopted him from a kennel, his name was Norman, but the family named him Shadow, due to the fact that he would follow them everywhere. He was loyal, always there, right under your feet, to catch you if you fall. Shadow was there for Hayden as a young child and helped him grow up to be the young man he is today. Shadow was there for Paige to help her through her young, formative years, keeping her safe. He taught us all that Shadows can be good, they can keep you safe and secure, but sometimes they can be a keep you in the dark from achieving your dreams. Shadow is and always will be Man's Best Friend because where there are Shadows, that means there can be light and Shadow kept the light on for us.
