Once in the winter when we were out for a walk, Shady stopped and pounced on a snow bank. Out popped a mouse squeaking! In her younger years she would jump up and down at least 2 if not 3 feet straight up in the air when she was excited about the squirrels in the yard. She loved to sit looking out the front door guarding our home and watching all the activity in the neighborhood.
