Your paw prints will forever remain on our hearts. We remember the day you first joined our family, full of feistiness that we adored. Now, you're reunited with Chance in Rainbow Bridge, and I know you're both having the best time. Chance must be showing you around and introducing you to his new friends. Grandma (your mom) misses you so much, and we all feel the same. But we take comfort in knowing you're in a better place. We'll miss you waiting by our feet while we ate, hoping for a little something to drop. We'll miss your bark, your snoring, your eager greeting at the door, and the way you arched your back when we rubbed it. You truly had such a human-like personality. Thank you for blessing us with 17 wonderful years of your life. You will be deeply missed. Tell Chance we miss and love him too, and remind him to take good care of you. Until we meet again, Shayla. Sleep peacefully. We love you so much.
