Memories of Smudgy
The day before he passed away he and I were hanging out when suddenly he reached over and touched my hand,it was for a split second but the most amazing feeling ever the day you entered my life was one of the best ever,I wasn't home when you first came in so when I did I was greeted by you who proceeded then to guide me to my room, turned and looked me directly in my eyes and at that moment it was literally never ending love.
After being a demolition dog and ripping up boxes youd be asked paws up who made this mess? You'd instantly roll on your back and put up a paw and got told good boy for being honest. One day after about a billion ear, tummy and back rubs I decided to have a bit of fun and give you a tail rub, little did I know I'd hit your tickle spot, this ensured alot of wagging, doggy laughter(who knew dogs could laugh) and me trying not to laugh my head off while you just wanted more. I decided I'd give you a paw massage, only fair you got one.every part of your paw got massaged, looking up at your face I noticed you'd practically fallen asleep with a grin you loved it so much. My little thunder buddy, always knew when a storm was coming when you'd come racing into my room, ask for permission to come onto my bed, permission granted you'd burrow into me for protection.
