She was a longtime New York City stray that was in such terrible condition that she wasn't expected to live two weeks, much less seven and a half years! She defied all expectations and lived a full and happy life despite her multiple medical challenges. It took a long time for her to relax and be comfortable in her new home. However,each night, when the door closed behind us, she seemed to breathe a sigh of relief...she was home...and she would run through the house with wild abandon, then circle back to play peek-a-boo. She would often come to check on me, as if to make sure I was still here. Now she is not here, and I miss her so very much. Please also visit Beethoven, Buttons, Gumby, Hayden, JoJo and Mollie. |
