Memories of Thomas
Thomas came to us in 2009 when our family decided to spontaneously take a look in a local animal shelter. As we looked around, we noticed that there was a sweet orange tabby cat, who looked so frightened and scared. The shelter workers informed us that he was old, grumpy and that we should not adopt him because they were going to euthanize him. We didn't take that as an answer and immediately adopted sweet Thomas. The second we brought him home he completely became a different cat. He would give us various head bumps, shoulder massages as he would need into our neck and bellies and would not stop purring.. and he did that until his last day. He also turned out to be much younger! We were so glad that we took a chance on this sweet boy. Thomas fit into our family immediately and was loved by everyone who ever got a chance to meet him. He especially bonded with a now rainbow bridge cat of ours named Murphy. They would sleep together, groom each other, and we're so bonded. They are now reunited on the Rainbow Bridge. He also loved to sleep next to our dog Kellie and play with her!

Thomas you were absolutely the perfect cat. We will miss how you would always try to eat the other cats food and that one time you stole a whole waffle off the table. We love you so much, and we hope you are enjoying the endless food and are frolicking across the fields with Murphy now. Until we meet again, my sweet boy. We all love and miss you. ❤️🌈🕊️
