My beautiful beloved baby Tiki crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 22 2022. She was so brave and strong during these past 2 tough months and passed beautifully and peacefully in my arms. Little Tiki was a rescue kitty and was full of silliness, energy, love and snuggles. Her zoomies across the apartment to the balcony to chase pigeons were the cutest. My sweet baby girl took care of me for almost 18 years and cuddled with me through my mental health struggles, brain tumor surgery, the pandemic and foot surgeries. She was silly, cuddly, smart, stubborn and sooo loving. She loved sitting on top of me when I was trying to stretch, always made her way on top of or inside the suitcase or my piano keyboard case. She slept on my head, licked my fingers when I typed and, when she was young, would meet me at the door when she sensed I was coming down the hall. She was definitely a revolutionary at heart too. One of our favorite pictures is Tiki sitting on our protest sign - ready to join us for one of the social justice demonstrations! We are beyond heartbroken and griefstricken, but so deeply grateful we had these incredibly special years together and thankful she is safe and at peace now. We will write more about little Tiki soon but coping with endless tears today. She was a blessing to us all and will be with us forever. Heartfelt gratitude to Tiki's grandma for loving us and helping us through all these years and especially the past 2 months. Also, to her amazing vet, Dr. Paula Fisher who took care of her for so many years and guided us through these especially difficult days. She is a treasure and we were so lucky to have her in our lives. Her big sister Angel Tessie is meeting her on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, showing her around and taking care of her now. They are playing with their favorite toys and chasing pigeons. May you be safe, pain free, I love you forever and ever my beautiful angel Tiki. Love, |
