From Winchester, Mom, Dad & Barney we want to give a very special thank you to Dr. Ashlie Hancock of Chesapeake VA, who without her skill & determination, we would have lost the first battle eleven years ago. Also, Winchester & his Mama want to thank the staff of Roanoke Animal Hospital in Roanoke Rapids NC, as well as the gentleman from Angel Paws for their kindness, patience & understanding with our last minutes on earth together. Winchester, Mama can't say much else right now. Ches, you are the only other one that has indeed lived inside my soul as your sister Carolina did. Although I love you all, sometimes there is a different bond. My son, my heart is in a place right now that I never could have imagined. I am so empty. I see you, I feel you, and I will miss you for the rest of my life. My arms are around your blanket at night instead of you. Winchester, stay with your family that went on before you. Mama will meet you in heaven one day. Thank you Winchester for loving me so very much. My son, I love you every bit as much as you did me. I have been so blessed to have you in my life. 11/14/2010 My soul son, I gave you back to Jesus 1 year ago today. I think of you, Carolina, Orlando, Otis & Barney every day. My heart still aches for your touch, yet I feel you near all the time. I know we have your blessings on the 4 ferals turned house cats that we have worked so hard with. We have new love in our home but none will ever replace our first 5 that we had together. I know how proud you all are of me, I feel your blessings, I see our new babies lay with your ashes in the sunlight, I know you are happy for those that we were able to save. I needed to tell you today Winchester, that I miss you deeply. My heart is still so very heavy. Stay near my son, I love you, Mama
