How do you say good-bye to a special friend?
How can you tell it's not the end?
When you fall down crying wondering if you'll pull through, will that friend come and rescue you?
When you fall down so deeply it makes you want to cry. I ask, "How do you say good-bye?"
When you miss them. When you can't kiss them.
Are they still your friend?
When they're not there to talk to. When they're not there to walk to.
"How do you say good-bye?"
If you don't want to let go but can't hold on, will there still be a rising sun?
Might I ask just one more time, "How do you say good-bye?"
Even though you love them so, sometimes you must let go.
