Beeker was a 13 year old dog and had cancer. Euthanisia was his only choice. He was suffering too much. Beekers owner wanted their son to be there so he could get an idea of death and of what happened to their dog. Afterwards, the vet and the owner were discussing how sad it was that animals have such short lives. The little boy spoke up. He looked at his mom and the vet and said, "I know why. God put us down here so that we could be nice and love each other right? Well animals already know how to do that so they don't have to stay long."
