Zoe drowned on the 20th of June 99. She was a little white Maltesse
Terrior. She could get through thr fence but she knew not to jump
up on the edge of the pool, even so.. dogs can swim.. but it was
so cold, the water was freezing.. Dad found her and they told me, and
i picked her up and held her tight, she was covered in blood from internal bleeding from the shock of the water and she was so cold and i wished shed wake up.. but she didn't... We buried her near the pool area, with this little squeaking Santa Claus toy i'd got her for a christmas years before. She treated it like a little puppy of her own. I miss her so much, she was my little baby, i'd had her half my life. I remember how she always used to get so excited when we let her and Maverick, my other doggie in, she would pee all over the floor cause she was so excited and this 1 time we let her in, she bolted in so fast and couldnt turn, so she curved around and left this long curved trail of dog pee behind her. She used to always bite the bottoms of Dad's pants and she'd bark and HUGE dogs that could swollow her in whole, thinking she was all tough and ferocious. I remember when i'd 1st got her.. i finally convinced Mom and Dad to let me have another dog, she was for my birthday and Mom owned a show near the pet shop she was in... I always used to take her round, she wasn't sold with the last bunch of puppies and a new bunch was brought in and they were smaller so ppl went for them, but i loved her, she was so cute and so little. It was funny when Mav and Zoe 1st met each other, cause i'd had Mav 1st, we brought her home and they growled at each other all night, but since then they've been best friends, he'll miss her too.. the poor thing. She was dearly loved and may she Rest in Peace. Love you Zoe....
