kyla our 1st lab came to live with us as a hunter and hunt she did.For 91/2 years she took many long pheasant trips to many states, coming home to recover on the water bed for 3 days after. And play t-ball with our son although he is 12 now,he would hit off a tee iin the back yard, kyla would get it and always get back to the tee before our son could round the bases. It was a game they played for many summers. Then one day when in for a routine check the vet found a spot on her eye, which proved to ba tumor.Kyla'e eye was removed soon after. She lived 31/2years after that. And would still retrieve for fun in the front yard and even wrestle with the other two labs once in a while. This december Kyla really slowed down, had difficulty staying upright,falling.etc.On Dec.22 we finally made the difficult decision everyone pet owner dreads.Kyla went to sleep in our arms that morning. We miss her everyday, especially me, as she followed me around her whole life like my shadow.I miss her very much.
