Huey was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. He was my boyfriend, my best friend and my son. He was absolutely everything to me. I have found that when we are single, we put all of our comfort in our pets. I definitely did that with Huey. He went through so many hard times with me, from college days to heartaches, Huey was always there to love me no matter what. He was taken way too soon, as he was only 6 years old when I came home to find that he has passed away in his sleep. With no real answer, my life has been in shambles since losing him. Here is my tribute to Huey:
Huey,
You were everything to me and I pray that you are somewhere where you can be happy and not sad. I know how much you miss me, and I could never explain to you how sad I am without you. From you spooning me under the covers at night and your constant hugs, I think of you every day. I am sorry that you had to suffer and I wish I would have been able to save you. You were loved by so many people and many of your "other moms and dads" are grieving with me. Please know that you touched my life in a way that no animal will ever be able to match. You were my first and my forever.......
I love you and can't wait to hug you again someday!
