Cherished Pets
Did you ever stop to wonder
Why a dog is different from a cat?
In looks,temperament,and attitude.
Wouldn't you agree with that?
Most cats are rather gentle
When held they tend to purr.
Most dogs want you to scratch
Places that itch beneath their fur.
Cats prefer to be indoors
Eating gourmet food from a can.
Dogs like to be outdoors playing
And hunting with a man.
Each animal is unique.
Each has a special place.
God in his wisdom made them special
And cared for by the human race.
We'll always cherish these pets.
Part of our life they will always be.
We will gladly provide for them
Because now they are family.
