For The Love Of Punky
by Davif Barinholtz
For the Love Of Punky: It's amazing what a little dog can do. Punky came into our lives in Jan 1986. Since that time, I couldn't imagine life with out her. Punky wasn't just a pet you see. She was a family member. She loved people and all she wanted to do was make you happy and be your friend. To me, she embodied all that is ment by the saying, unconditional love. The highlight of my day would be to come home from work and have her jump all over and give you a lick as if to say, I'm so glad you are home. When I was down, she'd make me smile. If I was sad, she'd make me laugh. She loved everyone in the family. When it was her time, we cried a lot. But I'll never forget, just before, for one brief moment, she looked at me and gave me one last lick. As if to say, it's ok. I'll see you again. Punky, I miss you so much. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget you. One day, when it is time, I'lll cross that bridge and I'll see you again. Untill then, as long as I and the family lives, your memory lives on. Thanks lord, for blessing us with Punky. We love you, Punky! Always!
