Dear Ben,
How are you my dear friend?
In my dreams I see you and me,
I see us side by side again.
Oh how I yearn to talk with you,
Face to face, eye to eye.
I miss your smile,
I miss your face,
It has not been the same
Since you left!
You brightened my day,
You freed my soul,
You warmed my heart.
I believe you were sent to me
From heaven,
To help me,
To guide me,
To love me,
To give me someone to talk to,
To tell all my secrets to.
Your photograph is placed in front of me,
As I write while I cry.
Only to stare at you and sigh,
Ben I know you are in heaven now,
I know you can hear my cry,
I hope I make it where you are,
Maybe then we can go for a walk
In the park again.
I never had a brother,
But I never really needed one with you,
Ben you were my brother!
