I was just sitting here thinking back to a drizzily day in the end of October. I had taken a friend to work and returned home to dress for a conference and found my home engulfed in smoke and suddenly flames. I tried to save the pets but could not get to them. My hair started to singe but I will never forget that day. I suffered such a great loss. We lost everything except the clothes on our backs but all I can think about were my babies. We lost four cats and 1 yorkie, and 8 cockatiels. You could never imagine the feeling of losing them all at once. It is nice to know that there is someplace to go and listen and share these thoughts with.
