Winter is Over Summer is Here
The moon leaves chased by the sun
A constant battle never won
As it comes, it is light
When it leaves it is night
The leaves fall to the ground
A shower of colour all around
Summer is over winter is near
Soon there will be nothing here
Animals are leaving left and right
The colds to much for them to fight
Others settle for winters sleep
A blanket of snow ensures their keep
Predators are now hunted as prey
Youll be nothing at the end of the day
They patrol the fields all night
With not a thing left in sight
There is nothing left to eat
To them Ill be fresh meat
Twigs is all that lines the floor
All of us crave some more
Winter is over summer is here
All will be back, there very near
Life will go on but not for me
Because that winter took the life from me
