Just 4 weeks ago a 20 year-old, long furred kitty, white with gray patches, named Little Guy crossed the rainbow bridge and left earth behind. He left on earth a black and white male kitty named Smudge. He was named that because he had a white stiped face with a black smudge mark near his nose. Smudge had come to my house, a stray, some 6 years ago. Little guy took Snudge under his care and was a father and a mentor to him. Just yesterday I had to make the decision to send Smudge to be with Little Guy. Who would have known that he would follow his mentor to the rainbow bridge so soon. My spirit was still hurting from the loss of the older boy and now the younger one has joined him. While they were with me they received the best of everything and they loved and were loved so much. When I had to make the decision to send Smudge to be with Little Guy it was comforting to know that he would be met, on the bridge by his mentor, and he would welcome him home. Smudge would not be alone. Once again Little Guy will have his son to watch over. Waa Waa Baby, Sassy and I will miss them terribly, but we know that they will be happy to be together again. Perhaps Little Guy went before to prepare the way.
