Yeah, So I'm a Rat?
Yeah, so I'm a Rat...Whatcha gonna do about that?
I have beady eyes, and a long creepy tail...
I'm good at scaring people, I'm sure, without fail.
Just look at me from different eyes..
I'm really not all that bad of a guy.
I love to snuggle, and get scratched behind my ears..
Maybe I can somehow ease your fears.
When I grind my teeth, no need to be afraid
It just feels so good...kinda like when you get paid..
I know your thinking, "A rat is just a dirty stinky thing"
"And they look so awfully mean"
"They sneak around and they like to bite,
Why do they only come out at nite?"
"Keep ‘em away from me, just not my kinda pet"
"If I see them around, a trap I'm gonna set!"
Now hold it right there...you got it all wrong!
I am a very clean and friendly little guy,
as far as biting, I wouldn't even try
Why do I only come out at night?
Duh, like you wanna see us around in broad daylight?
It's really sad there are folks like you that don't understand
Just set a trap, get rid of the damned.
I love to be close to you,
Snuggling is what I love thats true
Ignore the tail, and stop right there
Look into my eyes, you can like me, give it a try.
All people that give me a chance, learn I'm very sweet
Just scratch my head, give me a cool treat,
I will grind my teeth in happiness, and give you kisses,
and hug you with my feet.
So I'm a Rat, what's up with that?
I bet if you held me just once, and gave me a chance
You'd figure out Im a more loyal and loving pet
then that sneaky old cat!
