Memories of McGee
by Kari Chellis
Dear, precious Kari, I just want you to know that McGee held a very special place in our hearts as well. I can picture her in your car on the way out to our house, looking out the window and getting all excited. I can picture her nipping at KC for all the obvious reasons (not in the "mood") and avoiding Charlie for other abvious reasons! I remember tripping over her as she stood behind us in the kitchen, hoping for some little morsel we might drop or give her. I remember her laying loyally by the foot of whatever chair you were sitting in and making sure that if you stood up, she was ready to follow you to the next room. I remember her as a puppy out romping through the snow and "kissing" Alex when he was just a baby. I remember her coming to visit with her cast on after breaking her leg (and she had her little bandana on) and trying to keep her from jumping the fence. I remember her always being glad to "clean-up" your ice cream dish. I have so many, many warm memories of this wonderful, loyal friend. She was the perfect example of what we want a pet to be. She was honestly "man's best friend" and loved you with all her heart, unwavering, unconditionally. In return, she too was loved at the same level. How wonderful to have loved and been loved so totally. What a grand and noble purpose to have been placed here for. She will be missed sorely here at our house. We loved her dearly..........Deb
