This is a story of my cat Calvin. Calvin was brought into an animal hospital I worked for when he was 2 days old. His little eyes and ears were still closed, so I took over for his mother, I fed and cared for him every 2 hours.
That is when I fell in love with this little bundle of fur.
He is the love of my life and always will be.
He wood sleep on top of me at night and nurse on my ear lobes and purr and purr and purr till we both fell to sleep.
He never left my side even when he was neutered I was with him.
He was healthy until about 1 year ago, we found out the left side of his heart was alittle enlarged so we treated that.
Then he had gotten high blood presure so we treat that also, then he got renal failure, so we tried to treat that also, but that did not work.
So on 9/6/03 I had to do the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life, I had to put my little man to sleep.
That day my heart was broken forever, Calvin was my love and always will be my love.
I miss him everyday and will miss him always.
My face was the first face he ever saw when he opened his eyes and the last face he saw when he closed his eyes.
I loved him and I told him this everyday so he knew that I loved him.
I do have other cats that I love dearly, but Calvin was my special boy.
