Little One
by Jennifer Curtin
Just alittle baby he is. Though he is not furry, or fuzzy he is my baby. I got Miguel in June 2000. He was so cute. I could tell we would come to like each other. Everytime I would go to feed him he would just sit there, not afriad, just waiting. That was one thing I loved about him. Though he was only less than one foot long he was not afraid. I took him out everyday, played with him, loved him. After a few months past he slowly stopped eatting. He had no stregth. For two months I hand fed him with a needle-less siringe twice a day. I loved him, and cared. But he could no longer take it. On September 25 ' 2000 he pasted away. I know he is in a better place now. His body may be gone, but the little fearless iguana I had still lives in my heart forever.
