Hi. This story is not of grief, but it is of great sorrow. While visiting the local county fair this week, I was appalled by an exotic animal display featuring a black bear on a chain as well as a white tiger chained to a table by all fours as well as others. These people claim to be from an animal sanctuary in Ohio but I have been unable to validate that information. They were charging people $15.00 to have their photos taken with the poor creatures. Yes, there were people gladly doing it. It sickened me to the core of my soul. I have written to many organizations regarding this matter in hopes that someone could help me check the credibility of these individuals. While they could be perfectly legitimate, my instincts tell me otherwise. I urge all of you out there to please voice your disgust and displeasure by contacting my local fair board at 740-335-5856 or writing them at Fayette Co.
