I found Daisey at the SPCA. She was only 5 months old and very cute!
Eleven short years were all we had and she loved every minute! Sept.
19,1998 she "told"me she had enough. I told her when her medicine wasn't making her comfortable mommy would help her to heaven. I held
her close as the vet gave her the injection. I stroked her head, kissed her face, told her what a good dog she's been, and how much I loved her. She smiled as the angels came, no more pain. The vet
allowed me as much time as I needed after she passed. Then, one more goodbye as I told her I'd see her again. Her ashes now sit in the oak cremation urn beside my bed. In with her is her collar and leash,
her brush, a dog biscuit, a St. francis medal, and a piece of her blanket. Every morning I greet her and each night I tell her I love her and goodnight. People think I'm nuts for missing my dog so much.
How could they possibly know until they've felt my pain. Her doggie
friend here misses her. Princess still wanders around looking for
Daisey. My kids miss her too. I hope my Beagle friend is happy.
