August 28, 2000 Dear Pookie: It has been 6 weeks since you left me. It seems like it was just this morning. I wish I would've been able to say goodbye to you. I feel so guilty about how violently you died. I wanted to hold you, but the coyotes came back and took you. I know that you loved me and I know that you knew just how much you meant to me. I still have your picture on the refrigerator. I say hello to you each and every morning. I just had to write a note to you and say that I will never forget you.
