LOVING THOUGHTS OF BLANCO - APRIL 13,1980 TO DECEMBER 15,1998
You brought happiness and joy; As you licked away the tears,
Felt the anguish of a human; Helped banish all the fears.
As a kitten I held you; Then watched as you grew,
What would the fates hold; No one really knew.
Soft and fluffy; A little ball of fur,
To love and nurture; Cat antics, a soft purr.
At times we were harsh; Angrily casting you away,
But your love never wavered; Near Keri you would lay.
You were the ultimate; No doubt like your mother.
How regal you were; There could never be another.
You taught us dignity; So serious could you be
If a problem arose; From trouble you would flee.
Giving unconditional love; From the day of your birth,
My best friend forever; Right down on earth.
Rest in peace sweet Blanco; As one last tear I shed,
To gently place you; in your final resting bed.
A special place in heaven; Never more will you roam,
God has called to tell you; It's time to come home.
In all of God's creatures; Your presence will I see,
Illuminated forever; In our hearts eternally.
