Trophys Rise
by Kylie Gray
Trophys Rise Let the sun of these last summer days, Shine down on your tearful face. He now runs with new life and energy, He feels fresh and pain has no trace. White clouds of this sad September, They speed past our earthly blue sky. Hes rolling playfully in the heavens dust, He is happy, and his eyes say goodbye. His new herd makes the sounds of our thunder, As they run strong, wild, and free. When you see rains hit the earth and sand, Its stream waters that splash from their feet. When the cold, white flakes of winter, Begin to fall from above. Let your heart fill with his memories, Of his mane, his tail, and his love. As the last minutes came into focus, As he watched the tears drain down from your eyes. He wanted to say, Ill carry you again, When Gods ready, youll ride and Ill fly. Never in your mind or your heart, Should you feel you did it wrong. He trusted you wouldnt let him suffer, You were his angel to stay so strong.
