Bosco (aka "big guy")
by Brian Harper
Bosco was my chocolate lab/german short hair mix dog whom i grew up with since i was a kid. He was the best dog a boy could have, and the time we spent together will fill my mind with precious memories for the rest of my life. I taught him all he knew from tricks to knowing how to get what he wants. We shared endless times in the mountains of utah with his brother hershey. His life was shortened by an almost unknown disease that took his life in 9 short years. I really miss being able to go home to see him greet me like he always did. from the hiking trips and all the long walks we shared, the memory of him will never leave me, and a certain link to my heart will be lost until we meet again. The last days of your life were tough bosco but u were the "big guy" and held on as long as u can, and i am sorry for not being with you as u passed, I just couldnt handle the pain it gave me seeing u in all that pain that day. Your brother is very sadenned with your departure but we visit your grave almost every week in the mountains. I really hope there is such a place as rainbow bridge, and i cannot wait to see your face again and be able to play with u again. well bosco this is goodbye for now- love Brian and Hershey.
