My Baby
by Mandy Hays
When i brought him home he was so little he fit in my hand. Two days after i had him we were at the vet. Right from the beginning he was a trouble maker. But i fell in love with him. My baby was a bottle fed kitten before i got him and so little. I slept on the couch for a week i was so scared i would roll over in bed and hurt him. Then came the energy. He ran and played and scratched and bit. He would get so grumpy if you moved when he was asleep. Give you this look from #*$$. He probally had an identity crisis, because we changed his name every other week. We finally set on BC (Bad Cat). Let me tell you he was mean. I still have scars from my scratches. He hated everyone but me, my mom, and my grandmother. He would slap you before you could blink. He popped my aunt in the eye once. It was rolling on the floor funny! He would lick my face when i came home and before bed, curl up with me and off to sleep we went. My cat had kidney failure. He was only 2 yrs old and an indoor cat. This shouldn't happen to a cat that was so well loved and taken care of. It was the hardest thing i have ever done when i put him to sleep. Its been 3 days and i still can't think of him without crying. He was my baby. I will have other cats, but there will always be a corner of my heart for my baby. I know that Sue Sue and Catfish met him and led the way home and will take care of him until i can be with him again. Bye baby I love you.
