Sassie was a smart little dog who loved to be cuddled and held. Her favorite thing was to lay with her daddy at night, eating popcorn and snoozing while he watched television. One evening he was flipping channels and came across Animal Planet and America's Funniest Pets. Sassie sat straight up from her nap and sat on the edge of the couch just staring at the t.v. She would bark at dogs and chase cats across the screen. Other animals didn't seem to bother her. It soon became an everynight thing with her because she would start whining and pacing in front of the t.v. about the time the show came on. She would sit for the show and then get up and go about her business. She would let you know about it by back talking if you didn't turn on the tv when she wanted. It was the craziest thing. I still think about that and turn the tv on just for her. We had her cremated and her ashes sit on the top of the entertainment stand. I lost my husband in August after I lost Sassie. I think of them together again and I know they are watching.
