<3 Patch <3
by Lauren Herman
<3Patch<3 Patch was born on September 15, 2002 with 3 other puppies. His mother was a springer spaniel and the father unknown. There was 2 females and 2 males. Sadly one of the females died shortly after birth. Patch was the biggest male. He was a hansome boy, He had these puppies eyes to die for and a sweet look that you would have to love and hold in your arms. Patch grew and grew to be a big puppy, and as most big dogs ... he loved to be loved. My friend told me that Patch would just lay in you lap. When the day came that my blood sisters family decided they wanted to keep one and of course it was Patch. The one and only girl was adopted but unfortunately the one puppy left ( the male ) was taken to the humane society for no one wanted him ... but in a few days ( i think ) he was adopted. There's a sad turn in this puppy story. Patches one sister who survived got hit by a car in 2003. Then the story even takes an even worst turn. On June 24, 2003 Patch went out to go bathroom and then came in and again went out. All I really know is he got hit. He was in a blind spot ( as I was told ) and the driver probably didn't see him. The driver who hit my b. sisters babey didn't even care to stop and say sorry. I just heard about this and I know how hard it is would be for my b. sister and her family to replace such a loving puppy. "I Am Not There" Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow; I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. **this poem is dedicated to my blood sister .. Tiffany Lindsay and to her family ( Kyle, Traci, and Clark ). They lost such a great puppy.! <3<3<3<3 In loving memory to Patch <3<3<3<3. Traci, Clark, Tiffany, and Kyle--> Don't worry you will be able to see him in heaven as you cross the Rainbow Bridge and will meet up and never be separated.
