I said goodbye to you nearly four years ago, but you never really left. You are in my heart and travel with me in my journey in life. Every time I think of you, I remember what it means to really love and trust. You helped me grow up and know responsibility. You licked my face when I was crying. You wagged your tail when I scolded you. You protected me from danger. You made me laugh with your goofy Golden antics. I loved it when you did your "roll around thing" on the carpet, doing "air bicycles" and woofing. I giggle just thinking about it. There will never be another you. Thanks for sharing your life with me. Thank you for staying with me in memory. You will always be my "best bud".
