April was born in the Springtime, When the Flowers and Trees are in bloom. She brought with her the sunshine, dispelling the darkness and gloom. Just a little Calico Kitty, so pretty and so full of love, She came from the Garden in Heaven, with her unconditional love. Losing a leg was her burden when she was still so small, She didn't let it contain her, she could still run and still chase a ball. Her kitty kisses were special, she snuggled with me in my bed, Her soft little paws would caress my face, before she would lay down her head. April, the tears are still flowing, since the day that you went far away, Mommy is still feeling lonely, and I cry for my girl every day. But honey I know that in Heaven, you are running on 4 legs again, and chasing the butterflies daily, At the Rainbow Bridge in Heaven. But Mommy will hold you again love, when my work on this old earth is through, Then we'll have a happy reunion, with Casey, Puff, Mommy and you. I love you my girl, Love, Mommy 1/19/2000
