This is a true story that I wanted to share with everyone because it is soo happy! :) We live in an apartment, and we often keep the door open to air the house out on bright, pretty days. one day, this beautiful calico kitty just waltzed right in o ur house, and started checking out the place. She was small, about 1 year old, and was visibly pregnant. We fed this little kitty, and then she left us. The next night, she came back, and we decided to give her a place for her to sleep. The door was mistakenly left open, and our kitty ran away, and I was so sad. :( I really wanted to keep this kitty, because she had my heart, and I think she knew this!! She stayed gone for 2 weeks, and I cried and prayed that she would come back to us. I left a bowl of food out every night, and noticed that "someone" was eating it, so I continued this.
Then after two weeks, we saw a fuzzy little head peep around the corner of the door, and I was so happy, I began crying! She was noticeably thin, so we decided to follow her and see where she hid her babies at. she was too quick for us, and we lost her again. after sevral hours, she came back to us again, she ate some more food, and took 2 s teps out the door, turned and meowed at us, then tore out of the houe. We followed her, and she waited for us to catch up to her. She led us right straight to her babies!! she had given birth in a outside apartment storage closet. We grabbed a box and blankets, and she let us touch her babies. We took mama and babies home with us, and now they live under our bathroom sink. Csllie kitty is the sweetest little kitty, and the most loving kitty ever!! we plan to keep her, and one of her 3 babies. We decided to place the 2 oranger tabbies with a local No-Kill shelter, where I know her childrens will have a good home. :)
