My Fritz was The Wonder Dog of my life. He was with me through thick and thin. A dog that knew when I was blue and would cuddle by my neck and just love me. He was open, happy and ever so wonderful. He came to me just before a crisis in my life. I just thought he was cute. He was taken from me as my crisis ended. He we there for me always. He licked away my tears and he knew the green ball from the red one. Ever so smart he was. He never failed to come when I needed him....until that last day when a hawk swooped down and took him. He was so little, but so full of life. I've never seen such a small fur kid with so much energy. He smiled! His life was so short, but so meaningful. I believe that he was the angel from heaven that I prayed for. I've moved on from my troubles, but I'll never forget that one special Yorkshire Terrier with the heart of gold and all the love in the world. To Fritz, I say thank you and I'll see you someday. To my friend Megan, who's just learning how painful this loss can be, I say thank you for reminding me to remember and honor the "fur kids" that come and go and teach us to love unconditionally as they do.
