My feathered friends
by Barbara Mackay
These are my friends, the first one who would have been about 21 years old or 22 if he was alive, his name was George he talked and I loved him, his girlfriends name was Gina, she died I do not know how old she was but she waz special too. Then I was given Joey he was just over one year old when he got a virsu and he died my sister gave him to me as a cchristmas present. I loved him. Then I got Buddy, he was beautiful he was a jacarandah tree color and then when he moulted his head changed to a beautiful yellow he had a very appropriate named he passed away I think he was about 10 years old. Then I had Jewel he was named by my niece and nephew when they were quite quite small he died of a haemorage but he loved music and now I have Jamie but he has not passed away yet, he is still alive, Jewel was Joey, Buddy and Jewel were all here in Western Australiz and so is Jamie. George and Gina were in Hobart in Tasmania Australia, but they were all very precious and wonderful loving friends. I miss them and I know I will miss Jamie when he goes because he is my secondhand budgerigar. I got him while I still had Jewel because his owner could not cope with him they were in two separate cages but they were comical. If one sang the other one was quite but when Jewel passed away, Jamie got going and he is still going but I know I will miss when he goes but I am sure I will meet them all when I get to heaven . Thank you fpr ;etting me share this brief mention of all my little feathered friends who have been my companions over the many years. God Bless them all and the remaining one. Barbara Mackay
