Marble was the best cat in the whole wide world and we told him that often, even on the last night he shared with us even thogh we did not know it was the last. He always had so much to do visiting everyone from old to young, shopkeeper ,market traders, delivery people , postmen and other cats espically Tigs who he worshipped. He came to me as a kitten, I wanted a female tortie he was white and cream and male but I loved him right away ,when I was at a low ebb and he shared lots of tears but he was always there now he has gone it feels so strange not to have him about. He was always an adventurer taking off on two expeditions and travelling miles but I got him back , again after making so many new friends. I couldn't get him back this time he was killed on 30 August quickly so I was told .We buried him with all his toys (he loved that ball) in the orchard and he is now busy catching all the mice he could possibly want.(He just played with them really) He was not meant to be here long only just over a year but he touched so many and so many kind deeds and words have been said about him. The memory will fade I know but Marble you can never be replaced because you really were the best cat in the whole wide world.
