Tasha

TASHA You came to me mid-afternoon, much treasured by the two Whod beguiled you to trust again and whod spoiled you through and through. With them youd pounced your toys and run, and found the kitten ways That abandonment had torn from you along with love and praise. These two enjoyed you as you were - your naughtiness and frame. The two and you a threesome made until his sneezing came. It meant that I would get the chance to learn your ways and charms. They brought you in a cage to me and freed you to my arms. For but a year and little more we lived and loved, and learned The ways of one another, as from them to me you turned. I learned to give you petting when that was what you chose. When songs were what you needed, my Tinker gave you those. Month after month you taught me how to be a friend to you; And now youre gone, the memories will have to get me through.
