Smokey

Smokey, I remember the first day me and Daddy brought you home. You were and are such a sweet and loving dog. On your first night, you slept soundly until the alarm clock went off in the morning and you jumped off the bedroom chair barking angerly as if to say.."Shut that damn radio off and let me sleep"!!! We had a good laugh over that one, then there was the time Daddy made a door to keep you out of the other rooms while we were at work, when we got home that day, the door was smashed and you were no where to be found...where were you??? ...In Mommy and Daddys bed all cozy with sleep in your eyes. We went through alot with you with this seperation anxiety and we stood many tests of time with you. But we loved you so much that we tried our best to work on it with you. And as time grew on we realized that you were a little lonely and wanted you to have a companion and Daddy couldnt have picked a better one...Katie Girl. You both hit it off and became best of buddies. Then came Brianna our daughter. You are so good with her. Now as you are getting older and very thin, we must say goodbye. I cant tell you Smokey how much you mean to me and what joy you have brought in our lives. We love you with all are hearts. Brianna loves you so much too. You are the most loyal dog I have ever known. I will miss you terribly but deep down I know its the right thing to do, thats why for me, it is a bittersweet goodbye. I will be there with you holding you in my arms as you make your way up to heaven Friday night. I love you with all my heart and I will miss you so much Smokey and I will see you again up in heaven. Many Hugs & Many Kisses Mommy
