To my cute little companion all carmal and white-
Who for only 9 short years was my total delight-
A sweet lovable cat that had his demands-
Of love me, hold me, and try to understand-
He was always near me, close by my side-
To let me know my partner stayed with my stride-
And when he slept and I would leave the room-
He would awaken and find me, then to his nap he'd resume-
He was known as the Keester, Keemeister, Buddy Loveits, Bear-
Pookie, Pooh Bear, Cuddles, Cuddle Muffin, he did not care-
He would answer to all and came when I called-
He was the most loving animal of them all-
When he wanted to be brushed, he would rub against me and meow-
So I knew it was important and he wanted it now-
For I do not know Keekenese and it caused a delay-
So I would tell him to show me in pictures, or lead the way-
When I left the house, I couldn't wait to return-
Where my loving little companion awaited and yearned-
Because once I was back home and in his field of sight-
He was more than satisfied, he was releived, and purred in delight-
When he wanted in my lap, he'd sit at my feet and stare-
Until I called him to come, then he'd jump up in there-
He'd circle around until he felt he was settled-
Then he'd cuddle up in my lap, pleased and nestled-
Once in a while he'd sharpen his claws in the rug-
Then he'd look at me for approval and I would give him a hug-
I would let him know he could never do no wrong-
And I would tell him so in a made up song-
When he wanted outside, which was indicated frequently-
I told him it was not in the realm of Keekability-
He's the most lovable creature I've ever known-
And even the clinic staff considered him their own- To my Kee Kee, I will miss you more than words can say-
And when you left, my heart died that day-
