Gone, but not forgotten
by Kristen Piccolo
Gone, but not forgotten You are gone, but not forgotten. I will never forget the soft touch of your fur. Its unusual color, such beautiful patterns in every hue imaginable. I will never forget how you made me laugh when you exposed your furry little tummy while sunning yourself. Whenever I felt down I could always count on you to cheer me up. You were always there for me, your love unconditional. Sweet memories are all I have left of you now. But I would rather cherish these memories than have nothing at all. I pray for the day when we will be reunited in heaven. Until then, I will continue to cherish the love you have given me. You are gone in body, but your spirit will always live on in my heart forever. Thank you for filling my life with such joy and sweet memories. Rest in peace my love.
