Goodbye Celeste
There's a void in our lives Celeste,
That you filled, even at rest.
'Cause you have passed away,
And our hearts ache today.
Your happy "Woof" we'll hear no more,
Nor clattering claws across the floor.
And there is only empty space,
Where once we'd see your squished up face.
You gave all the love that you could give
For all the time that you did live.
You lived with us for six short years,
And now you're gone and we shed tears.
But though your body may be gone,
The memories live on and on.
As long as you are in our heart,
Celeste, we'll never be apart.
