Not a year has passed,
scince the day you slipped away,
but you'll always be in my heart,
loved and thought of everyday
I do not stand at your grave and weep,
for your not there you did not sleep,
you are the thousand winds that blow,
you are the dimond glints on snow,
you are the sunlight on ripened grain,
you are the gentle autumnal rain.
When i waken in the morning bush,
you are the soft uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circle flight.
You are the soft stars that shine at night,
i do not stand at your grave and cry,
for your not there you did not die.
These poems are for my angel ginger who sadly passed away earlier this year. I cannot share your sixth birthday for i thought i could but if you were her you know i would. You gave me so much love and tender you shared all your secrets for i surrender. My angel Ginger sadly had to be laid to rest as some evil fool had poisened her!! The vets did a blood test and found that you had failiure to your organs so i new it was best to lay you to rest in the way that was the best.
Now you have passed that rainbow alone maybe one day ill be able to meet you in heaven. I wish you happy birthday and hope you have had the best time of your life in Rainbow Bridge and that you have made nice new friends. I will love you and leave you now night, night sweet dreams my little angel please keep a watch over me and my troubles,
