Good-bye, ALBI
by Sherilyn Uselton
Albi was a pikenese who was 6 months old when we got him. He was solid white with a very flat nose. We became so attached to him immediately. He was just like our second child. He would lay in my arms on his back at night before he could go to sleep. He knew everything that I was thinking. He bacame very sick like over night. We took him to the vet and he had a liver disease. He was given blood and put on an IV. That did no good. My family was called into the vet because they had to put him to sleep. That is the worst feeling I had had in a very long time. I keep telling myself this is just a dog, get over it. But it hurt real bad. We still get real sad when we talk about ALBI. We have gotten another dog, a pika-poo, but it will never replace the lose of ALBI. WE MISS YOU!!
