the happiest 3 weeks of my life
by Julianne Vitulano
It was one of those days when you just needed a hug and there was nobody there. My mom was at work and I was at my grandma's house. My mom always gets out of work at seven, so i was sitting there waiting for her. Seven passed and still there was no mom, eight passed and still she wasnt here. so, finally at nine o clock she came witha little kitten in her arms. And it was funny because i had been asking her for the longest time to get me a kitten and she just kept saying "no".This had to be one of the happiest days of my life. so, i went home and made a little bed for her , out of a shoe box. so later on that week my mom was telling me to check her for fleas because there were other cats there and she just wanted to be safe for the cats health, me to.So i said ok and i went in to get her,(she was asleep), so we went out and got flea bath fluid to rinse brandy. later on that night i was rinsing her and she was all over the place and all of a sudden she just stopped..... so i thought that she finally reliz ed that it was o.k, but when i looked at her face, and felt her chest i relized that she was not alive.I miss her very much. Since that day i still blame it on my-self, for some reason. I hope to see brandy waiting for me at the front of the rainbow at the rainbow bridge. Also, i hope to get that same feeling like i got when i first saw her, that we would be together forever.i will always love you Brandy
