Our family shattered
like a piece of glass
dropped on the floor
broken into a million tiny pieces
scattering into separate parts
Death has come to our home
Taken a loved one
Now our house feels cold and empty
A huge void hangs over all of us
Someone is definately missing
We are grieving
For him we will never touch again
For a life we will never know again
For a peace of mind we will not find again
Broken for eternity
Our family shattered

pieces inside, pieces outside, pieces still
hanging on,
Sharp, cutting pieces
We are bleeding profusely
Death picked a link in the chain
Ripped from our family chain
A gapping hole where he used to be
We are hurting
Drained of a life
